This lovely place is located in Good
Earth City Centre, Ground Floor. As you exit the main central elevator it's on
the left side. Made with full conviction and passion, it boasts of a well
designed lounge and dining place .The owner is a much humble and graceful lady
Ms.Gita Saar who has been related to academics all her life but her passion for
good food and hospitality has brought her here.
Nicely and artistically done interiors. Very simple at some places and
intriguing at other others. Seating is on two levels, 1st and 2nd.....which is
a duplex model thru a beautiful staircase running inside the restaurant itself.
A very classy painting on the staircase wall and other murals and paintings on
the ground floor depicting the Roman and English Royalty makes the whole experience
lavish and uber luxurious.
The only loose end which i found
was the use of grey colour and too much use of reds..Which gives a cozy feeling
but at the same time hallucinates you too....Bar is done nicely but could have
been designed in much better hue and tones. Anyways we were here for food. So
let's talk of food now.
We ordered the salads and starters first. Caesar salad (4 on 5) was my
first order as always and it came out to be really well made with good amount
of dressing and fresh veggies. Next we ordered the Hummus and Falafel (3.5 on 5
) which was good but not the best. The Fungi Reipeni (4 on 5) was really crispy
from outside and juicy from inside (mushrooms stuffed with ricotta,
jalapenos and sundried tomatoes). Chili fish fingers (3.5 on 5) were good with
nice dips but the crust was not too crispy. The Minestrone soup (4.5 on 5) was
awesome with authentic flavors of Italy.
We ordered 2 pastas, one was the
Penne Alfredo (4 on 5) that's the white sauce for my daughter and she
really loved it. The other was the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio Pepperoncini (4 on 5)
which was again well made and liked by all. I ordered the Petite di pollo con
fungi (4 on 5) which is a stuffed chicken breast with black pepper and mushroom
sauce served with mash potatoes and exotic veggies. Also for the vegetarians we
ordered the same dish but with Cottage cheese and bbq sauce (4 on 5 ) Both
dishes were class apart well made and presented. The potato mash could be
better though...us critics can't be satisfied at all.....I loved the Grilled
fish in caper and Butter sauce , very nice fish with lovely flavor of sauce and
veggies (4.5 on 5)….The Chef, Amit Chauhan is highly talented with a real good background
and experience and is doing his job well......
Drinks....
We ordered both Mocktails as well
as Cocktails and liked most of them. Queens Mojito, American Sunrise and
Cosmopolitan were the best ones. The Margarita was not that good in both
flavors lime and strawberry.
Desserts......
Awesome Chocolate Lasagna (4.5 on
5)
Choco Lava cake (4 on 5)
Fresh Fruit with Ice cream (4 on 5)
All in all a very chic place to
enjoy your meal or just have a round of drinks with nice starters and finger
food. They have a Queens’s night as well as the Kings night every Tuesday and
Wednesday
(you may check with them). They also do events like whisky tasting and are planning
on having big events like Sufi nights etc.
I am going back again very soon
to savour the other dishes on that big and delish menu.
