Cheesy delights with Go Cheese and Chef Ranveer Brar
Go Cheese Tasting
powered by Femina that recently took place at Hard Rock Cafe Saket was a
delight for all food and Cheese lovers. The event was high spirited as the
mood for the afternoon was set by stand-up comic Vikramjit Singh. His Sardar
jokes and humourous takes on Delhi weddings had the audience in splits.
As the guests loosened
up, VPS Malik, Vice President modern trade and institution business at Parag
Milk Foods Ltd, took to the stage to
acquaint guests about gourmet cheese from Go Cheese. Go Cheese comes from the
stables of one of India’s leading private sector dairy players, Parag Milk
Foods Ltd, and has been a household name since its launch in 2009. “What sets
us apart from others in the market,” said Mr Malik, “Is that the cheese we
produce is made from pure cow’s milk.” Go Cheese comes in many flavours and
forms from wedges to slices, blocks, spreads to shredded, including finely
processed cheddar and mozzarella, and finest gourmet cheese like gouda, Colby,
orange cheddar, mild cheddar, etc.
However, the star
highlight of the afternoon was Chef Ranveer Brar, the good looking chef, food
stylist and TV host. His entry was greeted with loud cheers and applause from
the audience. He went on to speak about different varieties of cheese and their
interesting history. For the uninitiated, he informed that Gouda and Stilton
cheese are not made in the towns that they are named after. He also spoke about
the specially curated cheese themed menu that he had put together for the day.
The chef who has been giving fun cooking lessons and little known recipes to
the nation on his TV shows instantly hit it off with the guests as he asked
them quick questions about cheese.
The menu at the event
included:
Cheese Platter- Go Colby, Go Orange Cheddar, Go Gouda, Go Mild Cheddar.

devils Garnish and Montre Jack, Mini Winter Vegetable Pizza with Herbed Cheese
Cream, Chilli Cheese Suppli with Tomato and Saffron Chutney, Crumber

Fruit Tarts and Ginger Bread Cream Cheese Cookies were served.
Guests were seen trying the cheese platter and
the delicious snacks served by the enthusiastic Hard Rock Café team.
