Costa Coffee & leading Indian publishers
HarperCollins India have announced a tie-up for promoting reading & also
for the release of its books at Costa Coffee cafes across the country. The association aims at bringing coffee and
book lovers together. Fans and followers can also attend book launches and
interact with their favourite authors during the “Author Meet n Greet
Sessions”.
At the launch of Nikita Singh’s book “Like a Love Song” Mr. Virag Joshi, CEO & President, Devyani
International Ltd. Said ‘”Costa takes pride in announcing this tie-up with
HarperCollins. This initiative is a testament to the timeless relationship
between books and coffee. I am sure that Beans ‘n’ Books will offer coffee aficionados a wonderful
selection of coffee with an equally wonderful selection of books”
As a part of its Books ‘n’ Bean initiative,
Costa Coffee, in collaboration with HarperCollins also plans to start a ‘Book
Club’ at its cafes, wherein customers can enjoy book reading sessions and
interact with authors besides a dedicated book space for coffee lovers to
browse through a range of titles.
Even Author, Nikita Singh was excited to
hear about this initiative. At the launch of her novel, at this bustling Costa Coffee, there were crowds all over the place sipping over the
best of coffee and listening to her sensuous voice on the mic. Nikita read a
few pages from her novel, after which people bombarded her with questions. She
was happy to answer all of them and suggested the budding writers to read
enough before they start writing.
I loved the way she explained and spoke on
her book and her career so far. I will try and read this
novel
with a cup of coffee in my hand sitting at one of the Costa coffee outlets.
