Oh My God – Where food prayers are well answered!!

OMG!! An overused exclaim is now turned into a big food brand, not only amusing people with its name but also the concept and food.  When the best of creativity is executed, the master plan is ought to hit the heights. Similar is the case of this beautiful café named OH MY GOD based on the theme of hell and heaven. After all, who wouldn’t like to sit as the God of heaven enjoying all the pleasures of being mollycoddled?? This place will make anyone feel exactly the same where pleasure and power is all about good food.

Ambience – The interior here is done very beautifully and in tandem with their theme. One huge section showcases the heaven with cloudy look on the ceiling and some godly images on the walls. The plush sofa sittings are adding to the comfort of heaven. The other section of hell is comparatively very smaller showcasing dingy and gloomy part of hell.

The food and drinks served here are not just fancy in look but surely fascinating with its perfect taste.
Addams Apple- A classic cocktail presented in an inflated sugar ball injected with white rum, vodka, muddled basil and green apple.

Tangerine- A mix of jim beam flavored with clove and blood orange trapped beautifully in an inflated sugar ball.

Achaari Vada Pav with Lasuni Chutney- What makes these simple mumbaiyaa vada paav different is the achaari chutney. The lasun chutney is prepared with freshly used whole indian spices giving it an authentic flavor of pickle.

Exotic Veg Quesadillas- A platter of crispy quesadillas stuffed with veggies and kidney beans served with salsa, yoghurt and fresh cut salad.

Crispy Fried Chicken Fingers- Simple yet delicious chicken fingers served with a complimentary dip and salad. Bhatti Ka Bda Jheenga is another delicious non-veg appetizer smoked and packed with perfect flavors.

The concept of choosing a pizza is not only restricted to the selection from different varieties available in it. One can choose from the base, sauces, cheese to toppings and can create one’s own customized pizza.

The varieties in main are again very well laid and created. Street Side Noodle Bowl with Exotic Greens is a super bowl of happiness. The noodles are actually made with typical street side spicy flavors. Sundried Tomato Pesto Chicken with Caprese Salad and Hash Browns is a very classic dish available in non-veg. The chicken used in the preparation is fresh and properly cooked and goes well with the caprese salad. Even the hash brown has a crispy layer as expected seasoned with oregano.

Oh My God not only suits the concept of the café but their unbelievable selection of desserts make the name more apt. Lemon Posset with Alphonso Pulp and Spun Sugar is a heavenly creation of a drool worthy dessert. It is a cold deconstructed dessert made from thickened cream, typically flavored with lemon and later layered with alphonso pulp topped with spun sugar. Another dessert which can make anyone go crazy is the Rabdi MascerponeTart with Seasonal Fruits served with Golden Beads and Pistachio Dust. Totally a sinful indulgence!!

The quick service and coordinating staff makes the complete experience more happening.
OMG is surely not a one time visit sort of a cafe but a well deserving place which can be bookmarked for all good and special occasions.
