The upscale 5-star hotel is located
adjacent to both
international and
domestic Airport terminals and is well
connected through the
Airport Express
Line which is 5 minutes away.
The Pullman New Delhi Aerocity is
near the Business Hubs of Gurgaon,
New Delhi and Cybercity. It is also
very close to Delhi's Shopping Malls
including DLF Promenade, Emporio
and Worldmark.
A big Complex of 670
Rooms, Pullman and Novotel Aerocity
is a preferred
destinaton for both
business and leisure travellers.
The design element or the theme, surrounding the
interiors of the hotel is inspired by a peacock dancing to the rains,
celebrating joys of life. It also portrays a beautiful mix of fast moving
corporate culture and slow and relaxed leisure culture.
I recently visited the signature restaurant HONK Asian,
which is located on the lower ground floor of the hotel. A long and beautiful
staircase from the lobby level takes you down to this lavish restaurant. HONK
is a melting pot of Asian cuisine incorporating Thai, Chinese, Japanese and
others. The food at HONK is inspired by the street style preparations.
The live kitchen churning out fresh and beautiful dishes
especially the Sushi is phenomenal. The use of bright red and wood all over
gives out a warm and positive feel to the whole ambience. The Bar at the very
entrance deserves a special mention too, as its very nicely placed and kept.
FOOD
Som Tam Soup – Highly recommended. Full of flavors
Tom Yum Salad – Perfect to the core; Crunchy papaya,
peanuts, sweet and tangy dressing, every ingredient adding to the taste.

Sashimi |
Sashimi – WOW – Perfect cuts of the most exotic fishes;
Chutoro, Salmon, Yellow Tail (Hamachi) served with Fish Roe
Sushi – Specialty of the house; Rainbow Rolls and the
Cajun Tuna were amazing.
Dimsums – Pumpkin and Pine nuts were an amazing
combination – Highly Recommended
Mains
Veg – We tried the Stir Fried braised shitake and Bokchoi
– Nice with crunchy veggies and flavorful. Bangkok street cart fried rice – This was very nice and
one could just have it on its own.

Rendang curry - Pork |
Non Veg – Nanjing style Duck and Twice cooked Lamb –
Duck was phenomenal and was so well braised and cooked, the texture and flavor
still lingers. Lamb was nice but a little dry for my palate. Rendang Curry (Pork) was one of the best curries I have
had in recent times. Thorough flavours with a burst of freshness. (Highly
Recommended)
Drinks
Though, I am off poison for some time now. But my friend
tried 1 or 2 of their signature summer cocktails. I tried the Mocktails and
found them to be one of the best concoctions; I have tasted in recent times.
The Honk lemonade is a must try.
Honk’s Sour – Very refreshing though its whisky based,
was just amazing.
Asian Martini – Wasabi flavoured Gin concoction, very
nicely made.
Desserts
Jasmine Crème Brule’ – Subtle and sinful at the same
time. (Must try)
Chocolate caramel and Peanut Parfait – Chocolate Ball
with a twist, the chocolate ganache filled in the ball was so luscious and
yummy, I can still feel it in my mouth.

HONK Asian, is a perfect example of a great restaurant
backed a by a thoroughly professional and talented team of chefs and service
staff. F&B team led by Mr. Ajay Anand and Chef Deepak Malhotra who have
been an integral part of the Accor group, were specially flown in from USA with
other people to open up these 2 hotels viz Pullmann and Novotel, Aerocity.
HONK is a must visit for everyone, who loves the Pan
Asian fare. It’s one of the best in its class and the setting is fabulous.
