Where was this place hidden from me from such a long time? Why didn’t I visit this earlier?
I ask these questions to myself answering that
perceptions are sometimes wrong. PEBBLE STREET located at Connaught place is
probably one of the best restaurants to dine in.
Connaught Place is filled with a
number of watering holes and this swanky eatery simply adds on the sparkle to
this up class market. Pebble Street has
definitely made its presence felt in the world of steaks and grills and is without
a doubt a gem in carnivore heaven. Famous for its unique drinks and healthy food,
Pebble Street is not a place to be missed. Their Menu has a vast variety of
both veg and non-veg dishes in Tex Mex ,
Indian and Italian cuisines.
I tried the recommended
dish Cantonese Chicken Chilli – an oriental staple. It was amazing. You all
should also try the unique dish Mayo Pollo which is crispy fried chicken glazed
with mayonnaise. The prices of alcoholic drinks are economical and so is the
pricing for food. The Caesar Salad and the White sauce pasta need a little improvisation
as per me.
The food was in sync with the sporty concept and
every item on the menu had some twist. I was blown away with Mozzarella Fritters.
The best I ever had .I also liked the other dishes like the Chicken Hawaiian
Salad , Nachos and dip. You should
definitely try Death by chocolate – It’s a classy cocktail.
The
restaurant is
beautifully designed and is unique with its interiors. I am sure no
other restaurant
in Delhi possesses such out of the box interiors. Flavor of Formula One
cars and Cricket can be very well seen everywhere. The Patio style
design portrays the brighter side of life with natural light coming in
from the roof.
Jalapeño Poppers was also good
and is worth ordering..The Desert Platter is a must order as it has all the
Desserts in good proportion on one platter. The Tiramisu, Cheese cake, Ice
Cream sundae, Chocolate Brownie etc. We were 4 of us and still could not finish
this platter in full. Most importantly the warmth and hospitality of the waiting
guys won our hearts. Service was Bang On!! Highly recommended.
Overall it’s
a nice and chic place for hanging out with friends and everything
the
food, ambience, service ,seating, staff, feel of the place, music and
everything else which defines a very good café is spot on. Would love to
visit this outlet as well the flagship outlet at NFC soon.
